BFRC FAQs

What are the benefits for specifiers?

When designing a building or undertaking refurbishment work on a building, most owners or occupiers want to know the running costs, with fuel prices making a major impact on the costs for running a building.

A specifier may specify energy efficient windows with a higher rating, and while these may have higher initial cost due to the advanced technology, they can be demonstrated to save on the actual running costs of the building over its lifetime, based on an independent measure of energy efficiency.
